Warrior 917 is an electric off-road vehicle and a warrior. At the beginning of vehicle design, Cai Jing, the chief engineer of Warrior 917 platform and vehicle system integration, and his team decided to be the best off-road vehicle in China.
The R&D team innovatively divided the Warriors 917 frame into three sections, and realized the wheelbase expansion by changing the length of the middle straight section. The front and rear sections with complex structure adopt advanced internal high-pressure forming technology to reduce the deformation of weld and welding process and control the accuracy of frame with high quality. After more than 20 rounds of simulation iterations, the frame of Warrior 917 has obtained excellent strength and stiffness and good technological feasibility.
In order to make an almost perfect double-layer battery design scheme, the team members constantly verified the design, made more than 10 versions of the scheme, and finally selected the ternary high specific energy battery. The battery pack of Warrior 917 adopts 1500Mpa hot-formed steel bottom plate, and the whole vehicle is equipped with various forms of battery packaging armor protection plates. Under the premise of ensuring battery performance and safety, the battery capacity of pure electric version is 142kW·h and extended range version is 65kW·h, which is also the largest battery capacity of China mass production vehicle.
"Rear wheel steering" is a major feature of Warrior 917. In the past, rear wheel steering was only a function of top luxury cars, but it was generally set at around 5. In order to make the warrior 917 a "big guy" agile, the R&D team debugged it again and again, and finally realized the maximum rear wheel steering angle of 10.6 and the minimum turning radius of 5.1 meters. It is precisely because the steering angle of the rear wheel is large enough that Warrior 917 developed the first crab walking mode in China.

Warrior 917 has super power of over 1000 horses, zero acceleration of 4.2 seconds, and the world’s first two-speed transmission with integrated differential lock, which makes its wheel torque reach an astonishing 16000 N m.
In order to ensure that the vehicle will not be over-heated in extreme off-road and the power will be limited, Xie Yu, the chief engineer of new energy power system development, led the team to repeatedly test the acceleration and deceleration of 0-100 speed in Turpan where the surface temperature exceeded 60℃.
After three consecutive hours of testing, the battery of the Warrior 917 motor can keep working without overheating, the power output can still maintain a strong push back feeling, and the air conditioner in the car is still cool and comfortable.
"Super power, do whatever you want." In order to ensure that the powerful power can be fully exerted, the power team not only uses the best materials for the Warrior 917 transmission shaft, but also uses the characteristics of millisecond rapid adjustment of the motor to reconstruct the motor control model for the characteristics of off-road vehicles. This is a process from 0 to 1, and more than a dozen new control algorithms have been introduced. It took only one year to do dozens of rounds of debugging in the desert.
Warrior 917 used strict reliability and durability verification standards, and made four rounds of relevant verification, covering high temperature, cold and plateau three high tests, and passed cross-country assessment conditions such as slope flying, obstacle impact and step climbing, with a total equivalent user actual mileage of 6 million kilometers.
